Adoption Event -- Sep 30 - Oct 15

Adoption Process:

• Submit Adoption Application

• Fill out & Submit Questionnaire

• Set up a time for a phone consult with an adoption counselor

  • Questionnaire must be submitted 24 hrs (minimum) prior to your phone consultation

  • Phone consults are expected to take 15-30 minutes

• Schedule an In-Person Meet & Greet (M&G) to visit with cats and/or dogs who are well matched to your household.

  • Expect 40 minutes to meet with dogs

  • Expect 30 minutes to meet with cats

  • While there is no limit to how many you can meet, your appointment time is limited to either 30 or 40 minutes.

  • We are happy to schedule a second M&G appointment if you would like to meet with additional animals before making a decision.

No Dog-2-Dog Meets:

 

• We will not be offering D2D meets during this event.

• Please do not bring resident pets to your M&G appointment(s).

• A newly-adopted dog cannot be transported home in the same vehicle as a resident dog.

 

Additional Information:

• We cannot offer adoption holds for this event.

• Out-of-State adopters will need to purchase a health certificate prior to their M&G. The payment link will be sent with the summary email after the phone consultation.
