We care for hundreds of animals each year, thanks to the support and involvement of community members, volunteers, foundations, businesses, donors, and countless other supporters. Together, we're creating a more humane world for animals and pet owners.

With each program, volunteer activity, and event we add or improve, we keep one goal in mind: improving quality of life. You may make blankets for shelter cats, host a donation party in your home, volunteer to provide much-needed enrichment time for our cats and dogs at the shelter, or raise awareness for our mission. The HSNEI family welcomes you and encourages you to get involved in a way that makes sense for you. Together as a community, we make a difference in the lives of people and companion animals.
