Thank you for helping the animals at HSNEI!

There are many ways to help:

  Adopt a pet from HSNEI

  • Become an HSNEI annual member to help us save lives

  • Invite HSNEI to speak/present at your business club, service organization, or lunch group

  • Let us know about grant opportunities from your employers or other agencies

  • Foster a dog or a cat in your home

  • Volunteer to transport animals to other shelters 

  • Designate HSNEI for matching funds from your employer

  • Make a gift in honor or memory of a beloved pet

  • Make a gift in honor or memory of a family member

  • Designate HSNEI in your will

  • Spread the word to everyone you meet that there are pets in need of foster homes or adoption

  • Consider holding a fund raiser, such as a car wash, bake sale, or rock-a-thon, as a service project for your 4-H, Rotary, Kiwanis, Student, Church, or Community Club and donate the proceeds to HSNEI

  • Make a cash donation

  • Donate items for our animals, such as: Iams cat and kitten food, scoopable unscented cat litter, dog chews/biscuits, cat treats, dog and cat flea medicine (Frontline and Revolution), pet shampoo, grooming brushes and combs, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies.

 

Thrivent Financial Choice Dollars

Great News! The Humane Society of Northeast Iowa has been approved to participate in the Thrivent Choice® program. Humane Society of Northeast Iowa has been added to the Thrivent Choice online catalog so, anyone with Thrivent Choice dollars can donate those dollars to HSNEI. Kwik Trip Cards

You can also help HSNEI without using your pocketbook. We are now an organization that is supported through your purchases at Kwik Star/Trip. By designating HSNEI as the "Charity" for your Kwik Card, your cash-back rewards are sent to HSNEI. So the more you spend at Kwik Star/Trip for fuel or other purchases, the more money that is contributed to our organization. You may pick up an application for the Kwik Card at your local Kwik Star/Trip!


At the end of the application is a place to designate your rewards to HSNEI:
