Austin Pets Alive!

Austin Pets Alive! is a revolutionary animal lifesaving organization. They host internships for rescue workers from across the country.

Since mid-2008, Austin Pets Alive (APA!) has saved more than 40,000 dogs and cats at risk of being killed at area shelters. Austin became the largest No Kill City in the country in 2011, an achievement it has maintained ever since.
